My neighbor's husband is deployed. They have two kids and are expecting their third in the next few weeks. I don't know how those military wives do it!
Well, in preparation for baby, the older two kids switched rooms (so new baby sister can share the bigger room with big sister, Hailey) and their mom has been working hard to get everything settled. In doing so, she asked for help coming up with creative solutions for the girls' space. She specifically wanted display space for Hailey's artwork and for her snow globe collection. We had limited wall space to work with. This is what I came up with...
Two repurposed shelves spray painted white and hung above the double closet doors.
Snow globes are displayed nicely out of reach of little siblings on otherwise useless wall space.
An interchangeable art gallery solution...spray painted clothes pins secured to the wall with 3M Command strips. Hailey influenced the somewhat predictable pyramid arrangement. Her mom said she is a "symmetrical kind of girl".
